Section 34
Other Offenses
A police officer who commits any of the following offences, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years or with fine which may extend to one year's pay or with both:-
(a) Knowingly or negligently damages, destroys, loses or misappropriates government or anyone else's machinery, weapons, equipment, uniforms, trinkets, medals, medals, cash, goods, vehicles and fuel etc. under his charge or knowingly or negligently If taken or given on behalf of someone else,
(b) assaulting or insulting a person bringing logistics or other necessities to the camp or committing a crime using force or using force at any place,
(c) If he disobeys the legal order given by his superior police officer,
(d) In case of absconding from the police force,
(e) If he sleeps where he is on duty as a sentry or if he leaves without permission without regular change,
(f) without regular change or leaving his garrison, picket, team or patrol without permission,
(g) If he resigns without the permission of the officer authorized to appoint him or fails to perform the duties of his position,
(h) if the sentry is beaten or forced or attempted to do so,
(i) If, while in command of a guard, picket, or patrol, he refuses to understand a prisoner or person who has been duly surrendered, or if he leaves any person or prisoner in his charge without proper authority, or if he negligently allows such a prisoner or person to escape,
(j) If he leaves the place of arrest or detention without leaving because he has the authority to leave while he is arrested or detained,
(k) If he falsely pretends or pretends to be sick or free of body,
(l) knowingly or with malicious intent or maliciously submits a false account or report of the number or condition of persons under his command or charge, or of the money, arms, articles, clothes, goods or other goods of such persons or of the Government of Nepal or of the police or of any person who has joined the police force; If you omit or refuse to prepare or send a report on the above-mentioned topics due to deliberate negligence,
(d) If he participates in a meeting, procession or demonstration organized for political purposes, makes a speech, raises slogans or makes a statement,
(D1) In case of sexual violence,
(d) In case of threatening someone's position and causing unnecessary suffering and taunting or damaging someone's property.
